Press Release

Fraula-Hahn's new paintings are based on the life and work of artist Frida Kahlo. Kahlo, a famous Mexican painter who is best known for her self portraits, is recognized as one of the most critically acclaimed and influential artists of the 20th century. Fraula-Hahn, a painter and art historian, has been inspired by Kahlo for many years. "The Many Fridas" combines and reinterprets Frida's self portraits in surrealistic environments, to capture the impact and magnitude of her resilient and determined character.
